실수라는 말은 기회(opportunity)라는 단어와 밀접한 관련이 있습니다.
실수는 실패가 아닌, 더 많은 것을 배울 기회가 될 수 있기 때문입니다.
물론 실수를 반복하지 않고,
그 실수로부터 배워 앞으로 더 잘할 수 있을 때에만 해당되는 말입니다.
무언가를 배울 수 있는 실수는
가급적 빨리 저질러 보는 것이 더 큰 이득이 될 수 있습니다.
There is a fine line between the words “mistake” and “opportunity.”
A mistake is simply an opportunity to learn more,
and should not be construed as a failure.
It will only carry this definition when the same mistake is not repeated,
and can be used as a stepping stone to improvement.
If there is something that can be learned from an error,
it may be advantageous to commit it quickly. |
